My 3.5 yo son always has such a hard time at blood draw. They would say ‘his vein is so small’, which always results in multiple pokes, bruises, redraw, multiple people holding him down. All the things that make the already-unbearable nightmare even worse. 😭😭😭
And here they are, went in – drew 6 tubes – and out. Done!! No bruises, no warmers needed. 🤩🤩🤩
You can’t imagine how grateful and relieved we are as parents.
We had two amazing experiences with our 18 month old who is not yet 19 lbs. one tear the first time and he cried the second time but didn’t scream or struggle. One prick each time (compared to 7 when we went to CHOC).
